Toronto based designer/maker Christina Pupo graduated from the Craft and Design Program at Sheridan College in 2009 majoring in Furniture Design. She has received multiple scholarships to attend workshops at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in 2009, and The Penland School of Craft in 2009 and 2012, for which she received the Furniture Society’s Powermatic Scholarship (2009). While attending these workshops she learned specific building techniques in wood and clay. Christina currently works for Toronto artist Dennis Lin, assisting in the fabrication and installation of sculptures for corporate and private clients. She also works on privately commissioned furniture-based projects. Christina’s work has been published in Lark Books 500 Cabinets (2010).
